Team

Founded by a vascular surgeon who aims to improve the accuracy of image diagnostics and automate workflows within existing healthcare infrastructure.

Łukasz Znaniecki MD, PhD

co-founder, CMO (Chief Medical Officer)

Lukasz is a vascular surgeon in the Department of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at UCK Gdansk since 2003. He is also a research fellow at the Medical University of Gdansk where he earned his PhD in the field of endovascular aortic surgery. He has many years of experience in both classical vascular surgery and endovascular surgery. Enthusiast in the use of artificial intelligence in medicine, initiator of the use of artificial intelligence models in diagnostics of vascular diseases.

Paweł Białas

co-founder, CTO (Chief Technology Officer)

Pawel is a fullstack developer & artificial intelligence software engineer. Winner of the 2019 eHealth Forum competition and the “Understanding Needs” competition at the Gdansk University of Technology. Thesis topic: “Segmentation of selected structural parts of the heart in magnetic resonance imaging using deep neural networks”. Co-developer of the ANGIO.AI algorithm that automatically identifies abdominal aortic aneurysms from CT scans.

Peter Richards

chairman

Peter is serial entrepreneur having worked in four start-ups, three of which are focused on data and analytics to provide insights for decision making. He has experience in fundraising, alliances & partnerships, business development, sales and communication. His leadership has helped several start-ups grow from a couple hundred thousand in revenue to € 7-8 million in revenue. He has worked for start-ups in Canada, Slovakia, Norway and the UK.
